Business Solutions for employers

Business Solutions is the ‘employer-facing’ arm of Croydon College. It exists in order to maintain the central role that the college plays in the regional business community.
As an education provider within the business community, we have a raft of learning products and services that are designed specifically for businesses and their workforce. The offer includes:

• NVQs through Train to Gain
• Apprenticeships for both young people and older people
• Short industry-led courses on common areas of need such as First Aid or Food Hygiene
• Specialist industry qualifications
• Free recruitment service
• Outplacement service for businesses who are reducing their workforce and need practical support in making redundancies.

Because we are an FE College, much of our provision is either partially or fully subsidised. This means that the employer benefits. Business Solutions employ a team of sector specific Business Development Advisors that will work with you to look at your overall needs and will help you to navigate through the different offers, ensuring that you get maximum benefit. Regardless of the size of your company or your needs, you will have one dedicated Business Development Advisor (Account Manager) who you can return to at any point.

Ensuring quality

Croydon College, through Business Solutions, were one of the first training providers to achieve the Training Quality Standard. To achieve this, we had 4 inspectors visit the college over 3 days and over 100 of our employers were contacted to ask about their satisfaction with our service. We received very high satisfaction rates. Having achieved this kite mark, employers know that the College is exceptional in the way that it works with businesses, that it is flexible to their individual needs and that our products and services are of the highest quality.
