Sessional Lecturer in Human Resource Management   

Post Ref: 12/07

Hourly rate within the range of £19 - £29 per hour, inclusive of Outer London Weighting and holiday pay, dependent on qualifications and experience

University Centre Croydon is seeking a highly motivated and student-focused sessional lecturer to teach on the Certificate in Human Resource Practice CIPD evening programme. There may also be opportunities to teach on the Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management.

Applicants should have a background in Human Resource Management with a first degree and post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline. Candidates will be expected to teach on a range of interesting modules including ‘Resourcing Talent’, Managing Employment Relations’ and ‘Supporting Good Practice in Performance and Reward Management’.

In addition applicants should have completed or be working towards, a PGCE/ Cert Ed or equivalent teaching qualification. Knowledge of CIPD Programmes as well as tutoring experience is preferred. 

Students come from diverse backgrounds and the programme offers access to a wide range of career options. The successful candidates will need to be enthusiastic, organised and flexible. Strong interpersonal skills, a willingness to work collaboratively within a small team, and the ability to provide high quality student support are essential.
