Croydon is an enterprising, lively and multicultural town with the added benefit of being only a short journey away from all the attractions of one of the world’s leading capital cities - London. The College’s central location in the town means that it can easily be reached by public transport.
Croydon is a 'buzzing and bustling' town for the 21st Century. This can be seen in innovative projects like the futuristic £200 million 'Tramlink' project which provides a 28km environmentally friendly tram service between Croydon and surrounding areas.
Croydon is Britain's 6th largest commercial centre and has been a focus for shopping in the South East since the 13th Century, when Surrey Street Market was established. Croydon today offers a contemporary centre for shopping with a comprehensive range of retail outlets rivalling Central London.
Although Croydon has developed into a strong business centre, the area offers more than 1,000 hectares of green park space with easy access to the beauty of the North Downs and Surrey countryside.
