Fees and Funding

All Full-time Further Education courses will be free to UK and EU residents aged 16-18 on 31 August 2012.

If you are 16-18 years old there are no tuition or examination fees to pay, apart from examination/coursework re-sits where payment may be required.

If you are 19 years or older on 31 August in the first year of your course, then you may be required to pay tuition and examination fees.

Discretionary Learner Support fund

If you think you will have trouble meeting the costs of further education then the Discretionary Learner Support fund might be a source of help. The fund is prioritised for those who face financial hardship and can be used to help meet the costs of numerous factors including accommodation, essential course-related equipment, materials and field trips and travel.
