The Careers and Employability team assist students with making decisions about course choices, job applications and career planning as well as funding further study. Students have access to expert advice and guidance on career options and choices from our qualified and experienced Careers Advisers via one to one interviews as well as workshops and talks.

Students thinking of going to University have access to advice and information about the UCAS process, student finance for HE, useful tips on writing an effective personal statement and help with completing the online application. Information about University open days and events are promoted to students providing them with a valuable opportunity to visit and research HE institutions.
We have a range of careers resources to help students with job search and employability. This includes information about creating a CV, completing application forms and interview techniques. We also have prospectuses from many of the UK Universities and colleges, and a wide range of books and literature on a whole host of careers.
