Online Learning in Self-harm and Suicide Awareness and Prevention – Level 2 TQUK
The suicide rate for men in England and Wales has reached its highest level in two decades, accompanied by an alarming rise in self-harm reported in England. This underscores the urgent need for increased awareness and support around these critical issues.
This qualification is designed to explore all aspects related to these sensitive topics. Learners will discover how to recognize the signs of self-harm and suicidal thoughts, as well as effective ways to approach individuals who may be experiencing these challenges. The course will cover strategies for managing and minimizing self-harm risk, and it will also provide guidance on how to support individuals dealing with grief after a suicide.
There are no specific entry requirements for this course. Our Level 2 distance learning courses are free if eligible for government funding. You must also have access to a pc device.

This qualification is designed for anyone looking to enhance their understanding and awareness of suicide and self-harm. The knowledge gained is not limited to a specific sector and can be applied to a wide range of personal and professional situations.
