Distance Learning Courses

If you prefer the flexibility of learning from your own home, workplace or even on the go, our new range of Distance Learning Courses are perfect for you.

All of the flexible courses we offer lead to recognised qualifications and are available throughout the year, enabling you to choose when you wish to study and allow you to study at your own pace.

Course Information

  • Entry Requirements

There are no specific entry requirements; however, learners should have a minimum of level one in literacy or equivalent.

All learners must successfully complete an induction booklet.

  • Course Fees

Distance Learning Courses are free for eligible home students aged 19 – 23 who already have a full level 2 qualification and for all eligible home students aged 23 and over. If you are unsure if you meet these requirements please contact our Admission team on 020 8760 5934

If a student withdraws before completing the course they may be charged a £100 admin fee.

  • Assessment

These qualifications are assessed by internally set and marked online assessments and are subject to external quality assurance. Each qualification contains mandatory units that must be passed within the course duration (see each individual course page for requirements).

Each individual qualification also requires the successful completion of an Induction Booklet within 4 weeks of starting the programme.

  • Progression

Each qualification is designed for students to progress onto further study or prepare them for careers in chosen sectors.

Please note that only one distance learning course may be taken at a time. However, students are encouraged to progress to the next level or a different subject of study after finishing their programme. This can be achieved within one month of successful completion.

  • Course Enrolment

You will be invited to the College to enrol to introduce you to the College.

This visit will include an introduction to the College and a chance to ask any questions you may have. You will also need to bring in your documents to confirm your eligibility for the course.

The enrolment visit is anticipated to take a maximum of 1 hour.

What do I need to bring to enrolment?
